Education & Career Start
After completing my Bachelor of Science from the Perdue School of Business at Salisbury University in Spring 1998 (Marketing concentration, Studio Art minor), I relocated to Georgia. My three years in Atlanta were great. I founded a successful social club for outdoors enthusiasts, the Atlanta Outdoor Club, now with over 2,000 annual active members, worked as a direct marketing intern for a very well known rock radio station, 99X (WNNX), and worked on the corporate web team for two years at Interliant, an industry-leading ASP and later acquired by NaviSite. I returned to Maryland in the Fall of 2001.
Founding Local Businesses
After arriving in Maryland, I became a co-owner of online marketing and internet solutions expert, Tivilon, Inc., in the Baltimore, MD and Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. At Tivilon, I offered turnkey on- and off-line marketing solutions for companies looking to gain additional business through traditional and new media methods.
In my spare time, I have also founded social-networking groups: Maryland Outdoor Club (MOC) and Girls & the City (GATC). MOC, an adventure sport, social, and travel club is a sister club to the one I founded in Atlanta two years earlier. The MOC is presently over 7,000 members, approaching ten years old.

Career Development
In August 2003, I gained employment with Cygnus Business Media, and was promoted first to Web Site Manager in 2004, then Marketing Manager – SEO in 2005. At the Interactive division, my team managed and promoted over 50 company web sites.
In January 2007, I took a step forward by joining USinternetworking (USi), an AT&T company, in Annapolis, MD as their Senior Web Manager. USi is also a competitor to my former company, Interliant, acquired in 2002 by NaviSite.
Today
In April 2009, I took on the Senior Project Manager at then start-up Go Forward Media. Go Forward Media’s talent has also produced three MONOPOLY board games, via Emergency Services Play; created a 5K fun run experience for consumers with a firefighter-themed twist, Hero Rush; and launched a service for clients growing their audience reach and engagement via social networks, Social Media Creators. Here, I wear many hats in a dynamic, fun work environment.
